About Morra Aarons-Mele

Morra Aarons-Mele has spent her career studying the emotions high achievers work hardest to hide. She makes the case that stress, anxiety and neurodivergence, so often read as weaknesses, can become sources of clarity, confidence and high performance.

An anxious achiever herself, Aarons-Mele has taken the argument to stages from SXSW to Talks at Google. Her book Hiding in the Bathroom challenged the myth that extroversion is the key to success. Her forthcoming book, The Atypical Achiever, builds on her original research into how neurodivergent professionals lead.
